Default 1999 3.2TL Navi Hard Disk Error

A few days ago I started getting an error message on my Navi screen saying "Hard Disk Reading Error". Please tell me what could be the problem and what my options are in order to get my system restored. The Navi uses a PCMCIA Hard Disk Drive.

Is there a reset button that you can push? If you keep on getting the same error, there's a pretty good chance that the hard disk is a goner.

I don't see a reset button anywhere in the controller unit. Do you know where I could get a replacement hard drive?
