Default damn real main seal leaking

Arrrgh, I work all week on aircraft then I get the privlege of working on my sons 93 Civic with an auto and replace the rear main seal. I found it using dye and saw the leak when I put it in drive up on jacks.
Question: Can the tranny be dropped ( after the drive axles are taken out) out through the bottom? Is there anything special I need to do the job? Any hints from you pros out there would be helpful.

Ahh, young wedley, I was refering to removing and installing the seal. To much X-Box for you. When the smoke clears, maybe you can give me a straight answer......LOL
