Immobilizer
You could get a JDM one and it wouldn't have an immobilizer, but I am not positive that they are OBD2 for the same years that we are.
Katman at ff-squad.com would be able to tell you definitively if the IMM can be removed. You could take it to the Acura dealer with all the paperwork from the motors, and hope and pray they have a tech that is moderately competent (in my eperience, they want to hassle you first procedurally, and then just don't know how to honor your odd request anyways.)
Or you could convert to OBD1 with a X-over harness and an OBD1 P72. Which may cause some problems with emissions testing in your state.
