Default Allmotor B20vtec mildly modded B16 or GSR Tranny mostly for 1/4mile

For an Allmotor B20vtec mildly modded (probably between 160-180 Whp) what would be your best pick B16 hydro or GSR hydro Tranny. Mostly focused on the 1/4 mile runs and red light to red light, maybe some highway but more 1/4. Please explain your answer.

b16a LSD tranny hands down...anybody tells yeah different they are retarded.

shorter ALWAYS = faster. and you arent gonna run out of gearing...the only downside is the highway rpm, but if it is for a quarter mile than GSR trans would be stupid.

I know I had a GSR on my stock B20 but it had mad problems, so I got an LS for dirt cheap and I knew it would hurt performance but I ain't know it would be as bad as it was. Yesterday I just found out my GSR tranny would cost too much to get fixed so I'm gonna rock with the LS til I get some money and possibly by a B16 tranny. Although I can't afford an LSD.

Honestly dude this is a no brainer....as stated, shorter gears equal faster acceleration....

*BTW i just recently went to the track, the B20 setup my friend is runnin in a EJ coupe is running a 14.48 with an LS trans. He is planning on going boost, so the longer gears are good for him but i bet if he wanted all motor he would get a b16 trans which has shorter gears, with that he might be able to pull a 14.2 or lower.... *BTW hes getting a GSR trans later*

does he have a vtec head running that time.

nah straight B20 setup with an Ice man cold air intake *running open header at the track* and on slicks

Cause I have a stock B20 too. What time is he running with street tires/radials. Also what does he set his fuel pressure to. I'm trying to figure out a good number to set mines at. Right now mines is on about 42-43 at idol.
