just took the rear panel off, and tried these babies in, but they're hitting the trunk bar. i have some 1/2 spacers, but the question is...will the rear deck cover fit over them? (those infinities have high edges as it is comparing to the stock pioneers). help me out. what have you done to make the "reference" fit.

i have kappas in the back of my 02...i took out the trunk bars...was probably a bad idea, but i wanted the kappas too bad. I'm pretty sure if i tried to space it the back panel would not fit over. Kinda crappy. The one place you thought you didn't have to worry about depth.

Any progress on the Infinities? I just bought a 6x9" pair for my rear deck off ebay and was wondering how easy or difficult can be the installation process? Some local store can install them for $50 total but i would prefer to do them myself?
