Default DVD MP3 cd vs CD-R MP3 disc

This is odd.

I could play CD-R mp3 discs in my dvd player ( car dvd player)
but i cant play DVD MP3 cd's.

Is there a difference when burning the music?
does my player need to read a specific format?

how full is the dvd rom disc you're trying to burn?

if the disc isn't full, you might have to prep a dummy file to force all the wanted data towards the outter edge of the disc.

yep it must be burned in compatibility mode which I believe requires like 1-2GB to be burned (min.) btw nero will do this for you.
