So I did a search and came up with not much. I need to remove the airbags in the rsx cloth seats, so I can sell them. when I take them out, can I put the cover back on?
Also does anyone know what the hell the shaft attached to the seatbelt clip is? It's charged with a gas?

So no body knows. Guess I'll have to just do it hu? I figured i would be on my own on this one. Well I guess I'll be able to answer this one for the next guy after I figure it out.

 

I'd be very careful with tampering with those airbags. The shaft you are refering to is either the power conduit or the gas shaft for the bags - I'd not touch it. Being a rescue technician with my company, we have taken a few courses involving airbags, and disabling them and the like. Be very careful when you tamper with them, and be sure to disengage the battery fully beforehand. It's always suggested that you wait atleast an hour after disengaging the power before tampering with teh bags.

thanks, the gas shaft is already off, and the seats are in my civic ek, so they havent been hooked to a battery in MONTHS, so I will still be careful though. Anybody got a acura parts sheet that may show how it's put together in the seat?

That should do it. (slap hands) By the way the "gas Shaft" is filled with compressed anthrax jelly beans...amazingly potent stuff. And the electricity someone refered to...its not dangerous. Dont worry about the battery being disengaged. The best and most recommended thing to do is:

A:Buy another battery
B: dimantle the battery and drain the fluids into a cup
C:use jumper cables and attach the new batteries negative terminal to your to your left testicle
D:drink the battery fluid (tasts sorta irony, but dont let that stop you)
E: just as the pain sets in and the convulsions start, hook the posotive terminal cable to your right nipple.

Well aparently the rsx people on this forum dont know shit, or havent done any real mods yet...and everyone else just has to be a smart ass, so this site is getting on my nerves now. All the threads are basement threads, and everyone rips everyone else for no reason instead of helping.

This is the first question I've asked since being here, All I've done is answer other peoples shit for months now, and I ask a question, and all of the children on this site have no clue.
