Default axle replacement question
when replacing axles on a 95 integra, does the piece that supports the half shaft need to be removed before separating the axle from the half shaft?

no just pry it out the half shaft doesnt need to be taken out.

No. The axle separates before the bearing support. It takes a good amount of force but it is very doable with the right tools: Big ass hammer and crowbar.
