Hey all, i've got an '03 RSX type-S and it's completely stock. I'm trying to do some work on it soon like intake, exhaust, headers, etc... I don't wanna do anything huge like a turbo or anything just yet, but I was thinking prolly doing the exhaust first. What kind of exhaust would u guys reccomend or should I get one at all since the type-S exhaust is already different/bigger then stock. Im looking to spend around 5 or 600 so if you guys have RSX's with exhaust or know what kind would be best to get I'd really appreciate it

 

They upgraded the exhaust for the '05s, but on the '02-04s its still a bit of a bottleneck. I personally really like the RS*R ExMag, it's very quiet, has a nice deep tone when you get on it, a sweet looking exhaust tip, and full stainless construction. It's a bit too much of a sleeper for some, but for me, it's the perfect upgrade if you're only planning on doing some basic mods (like intake & header). If you think you might do a heavy N/A build-up or eventually go turbo, it's probably not the right exhaust for you.

I like the stock look so i am getting the Invidia G200 (no giant tip, but tip is titanium). Its either that or the Tanabe Ultra Medallion (but its $900, so i didnt list it). Good luck.

its quiet. Almost stock until you go into it and hit vtec. I am ordered something off my list.....RS-R ExMag.

You bastard! I want something no one else has...well now it is down to the RS-R ExMagII, BuddyClub P1, or Amuse Titanium (but its 1800$). Maybe i will get the invidiaG200 or say screw it and go with RS-R ExMag anyway.

 

I would go with the ex-mag honestly. ive had it on for almost a week now and its one of my fav. mods. second to be exact, right behind my HID's
SOMEONE is going to have the same thing 99.9% of the time, so just go with what you like
