Default JDM RSX Grill

i was wondering if i removed the piece that runs through the middle of the grill would it be the same as the jdm grill? it doesnt look that piece will come off w/o breaking the whole grill anyway. or should i just spend the $140 to get the jdm grill with emblem? thanks guys!

I actually cut mine off and then sanded the plastic down and custom made myself a grill all for 6$. DON'T GO TO AUTOZONE OR SOMEWHERE LIKE THAT TO GET GRILLING FOR LIKE $40 or $60 bucks, it's a ripoff. They get the same shit that roofers use to do roofs, it is like $6 for the same shit. Plus you get like a 6' by 4' sheet or something like that. Go to the RSX pics on here if you wanna see how mine looked. I actually got a type S emblem and put it on the grill in the front. It looks real nice, plus its an easy diy.

i did the same. custom made grill for 8.00 and a day of work sanding it down. bending it in the middle to make it look oem sanding it more and primer and sanding and more primer and then gunmetal spray and then a clear coat from the paint shop. 8.00 and a day or you could work a day and use that paycheck either way kinda balances out.

I tried doing that DIY JDM grill with my civic. honestly, i would just buy the 140$ one or try and find another one. the DIY didnt give it that right look... to me atleast. its up to you tho, maybe try the DIY first, if you dont like how it turns out, then buy it. hope that helps.
