04 TL Audio Upgrade
Just received my May issue of Car Audio and Electronics and the featured car is a 2004 TL. The TL can also be seen at the Project Two website. Comprised of MB Quart Speaker, RF Amps and Subs and Alpine mulitmedia manager. Install took 5 weeks ... very custom job and probably some big $$$$. Not liking the wheels, though.....

lol- I just read the other thread about it.. I can't front.. It could be a little better as far as the bass and power is concerned BUT you have to realize it still considered STOCK.. YOu're always going to have to change it if you want something better.. I can't say I read the reviews before I bought it tho so I wasn't dissapointed cause I wasn't expecting a great sound system.. It's decent but I'm use to more bass so I might end up putting a box in there down line...

And the tweeters are great, the overall range is great.. I tend to listen to mostly Jazz, but also listen to Rock and Classical and oldies.. I love the XM raido,, quality is as good as listening to a CD. I just got the two disk set "The Esential Santana" and it sounds better in the TL then on my home stereo.
like everything else, there are always A LOT of different factors included before making a decision.. Like, I mostly playing hip hop, r&b, spanish and freestyle music.. the hip hop and r&b stations never sound as good as the other stations.. SO I htink b/c you play mostly jazz music and theres not a lot of deep bass in that, the system may sound clearer to you than it would for others... Just my opinion... I'm use to having subs so that might be an ungrade for me in the next couple of months.
