Default Can't fit any more than 10 gallons in the tank

I've filled up my new 2005 TL at least 6 times now, but the most I've ever been able to put in is around 10 gallons.

The last time I filled up, the Trip Computer said I had under 20 miles range left, the gas gauge was at the bottom, and the low gas light was on, and the tank still only took 10 gallons!

Also, the trip computer is showing what I consider to be poor mileage. In town it reports 14 MPG, and 20 on the highway. If I do the math on mileage divided by 10 gallons, I get more reasonable mileage of around 27 or so on the highway.

I'm not sure how the Trip computer determines average fuel mileage or range left, but something seems amiss.

Has anyone else seen such issues?

You probably have a small hamster trapped in your gas tank.

Take it to Acura, it's under warranty.

You probably got a huge dent in your gas tank. -JK

Sounds like your fuel level sensor is screwed up. The trip computer seems to calculate your gas mileage from the fuel level gauge input and odometer readings. But in real life, it should take the fuel consumption rate and odometer reading. Just take to to the dealer for warranty work.

I think the gas tank holds about 18 gallons or so.

Take it to the dealer. Your tank should hold way more than 10 gallons.
