Re: SF Bay Area mini meet, Mini Kart Racing on March 9th... BAAE
Come out to race mini karts with the old BAAE group in Burlingame!
Who: Anyone that can make it
What: Mini Kart Racing and then dinner afterwards, maybe Max's.
When: Wednesday, March 9th at about 7pm!
Where: Go Kart Racer, 1541 Adrian Rd., Burlingame, 94010. 650-692-RACE

Why: Because kart racing is fun and to have fun with friends, or just to say hello! If you can't make it at 7pm-ish come by later and have dinner with us at Max's across from the track on 101.

What's the BAAE? Back in '99 a handful of us got together from Honda-Acura.net and now Honda-tech and formed the Bay Area Auto Enthusiasts. During a 3 year period we put on some of the most attended meets in the bay area, which included picnics, general meets, track races, auto-x, mountain runs, installs, etc...
But most of all, we all shared a love and passion for cars and the willingness to help each other out. I think that's why we were fairly successful because the core group didn't look down on newbies; instead we all taught and learned for and with each other.
