Default Oil pressure or oil temperature monitoring

Which one is more important for live monitoring of your engine's health?

I'm a novice home mechanic so I'm not sure. I'm guessing that oil pressure is more important because you need to make sure you aren't losing necessary pressure (for proper circulation).

If you are turboed, oil temperature is really handy to have so that you can make sure the turbo isn't crusted up with oil after you turn your car off after a hot run. A stock car, it doesn't matter as much. Oil pressure is good to have though, just so you know if your oil pressure is abnormal and you will know how abnormal it is even before the idiot light comes on. There have been times where my gauge has dropped to zero but the light didn't come on. Most of the times, it is useless but if you blow a motor because of no oil pressure, you will wish you invested the money into it.
