Probably not any time soon. They tried with the CL for two generations and it flopped, largely because there wasn't a whole lot different with it compared to the sedan.

You might want to look at the Accord EX V6 Coupe 6-speed.

I know you've had 4 Accords, but trust me when I tell ya, the Accord 6 speed coupe is no regular Accord coupe..... here are the differences over the standard coupe:

Standard 17" 50 series tires

Front strut tower brace over engine

Close Ratio 6 Speed transmission with LSD and electronic traction control

4 wheel double wishbone suspension

Larger diameter dual exhaust than standard Accord V6

Hate to say that it's not a 330Ci, but then what is? It's a viable alternative, and it will certainly save you some cash (28k with Nav, heated leather, 6 disc in dash changer, and power window control from remote ) At least give it a shot and test drive one. You may be surprised.

So would you take the Accord over The TL? I do not plan to do much after market to either car.. I am tired of spending all the money then selling it and not getting anything back. Maybe rims, somthing in the middle of bling and race?

One question do the cars either have any aftermarket performance chips and are they any good?

zThanks

Myself personally, I would take the TL if I felt like going with a sedan, Accord 6MT if I liked a coupe.

I've driven both, and the driving dynamics are not the same, but still similar. One thing is for sure, the Accord 6MT does not feel like any other Accord. The TL is not much quicker than the Accord. You pay mostly for stuff like memory seating, DVD-Audio stereo system, longer warranty, and HID headlamps...... if you're in to more bells and whistles, by all means go with the Acura. But since the Accord comes pretty well equiped as it is, you won't be missing anything.

You could also look for a slightly used 2003 CL 6-speed. Those have a slight edge over the 6MT Accords.

Yes i agree!! Get a 2nd Gen CL type-s. 6speed of course. The 330ci is little smaller but similar cars. both cars are similar specs. Its just, do u want a BMW or an Acura. both nice. Ive driven both, and the CL is cushier than than the 330. the 330 grips the road, tight suspension. the CL is smoother. Its whatever ur into.

I road tested the TL last year and then immediately went down the road to the Honda dealership and tested the accord V6 EX coupe. The Honda felt too light compared to the Acura.
THe next week I went back to the dealer ship and took out the TL again and then immediatly a TSX. I did not feel any inferiority in the TSX except for the fact that it was only 4 cyls. The TSX felt nicely weighted.
I would look to the Acura line up.

Did you drive the AT or 6MT Accord V6?

They have two totally different driving characteristics. The only things they share are the engine and body.
