yep, I've pull a muscle in my neck before, hurts. It usually happens when I crack my neck without using my hands h:

i still have a pain in the back of my neck from cracking it a few weeks ago. everytime i move my head back and to the left it hurts like the devil. :worried:

i thought i could get that extra one.. and then went too far.... all i got was that weird sesataion that sounds like foam being sqeezed tight

Yea, that's why you shouldn't crack your neck/back on your own and, instead, should go to a chiropractor.

back in 10th grade i was sitting at my desk, cracked my back, pinched a nerve, and i was gasping for air. i couldn't walk..

It can make the subluxation (unaligned joints) to worsen..and can pinch nerves which affect other parts of your body.
