ishkur's guide to electronic music..
Teh :repost: like 10 times over

I've cited him so many times whenever someone here refers to House or Trance as "Techno". There's only a few gripes I have with that thing (i.e. He has the worst sampled tracks ever for Tech House, and all of the Jump Up samples come from the same goddamned mix that Aphrodite did like a decade ago, so of course all of the sampled Jump Up will sound alike
h: ), but it's a very good introductory thing..
except that's version 2.5... too bad I don't have speakers at work so I can't hear the new samples

You should see my playlist
h: But, introductory /= comprehensive. That guide is a great foundation to find some electric noise you can enjoy, but once you find a genre you like (for me, it's the Jungle and House), you can find music that doesn't fit into any of the definitions he set out.
