I just moved to flagstaff, AZ for school and I'm thinkin about buyin a Nissan Xterra cause I'll need the 4 wheel drive to get around the snow and mountains here. What do you guys think about these vehicles?

they are good but the suspension is abit floaty just like the pathfinder waayyy to much body roll even for an SUV but they do have power and they can really go places. strong SUV but the susp. is to light
Mexican built nissans are no good. My girl's pops owns one, the tranny, alternator, and water pump had to be replaced in the first two years of him owning the car. :down:
There are many alternatives.. Jeep as stated earlier, any scooby (I'm thinking forester), just about anything 4wd.
I like my mother's 2000 Pathfinder LE, however, with a blistering 1/4 mile time of 17.3, you often find yourself flooring it if you are in a hurry like me, and getting frustrated that it's not going anywhere at that :P.
