Default The Worst Luck

Has anyone ever got pulled over and then got the ticket in the mail later??

I never really heard of this before in Pennsylvania, and it really pissed me off. Like last week I got pulled over at 1 in the morning. He pulled me over for doing 64 in a 40. Oh to be exact he pulled me over for doing 64.5 That .5 does make a difference. But all he did was get my info and then let me go. Didn't tell me I was gonna get a ticket. To top it off they sent me two tickets.
1. For the speeding fine
2. For a driving with a suspended license!!!!!

PA didn't even tell me my license was suspended. I got a ticket last year visiting Delaware and paid it in July of 04. Well Delaware never told PA that I paid it, and so they just suspended my license without even telling me. So anybody have any idea what I am supposed to do about this. I already called Delaware and requested a receipt for the payment and the date, but once I let PA know are they still going to nail me with this fine. I didn't think it was my responsibility to tell PA DMV that I paid that!!!! Why do I pay taxes then? I don't know what I am supposed to do about the fine whether it is plead not guilty or what? Anyone please help!!!

1st off go to ur bank and recieve a copy of the paid item (im guessing u wrote them a personal checl). then call up the DE police dpt that cited you, make them write u a letter saying it was there error and they actually did recieve payment. When u goto court, plead Guilty on the 1st count of speeding, and not guity on the 2nd count. Judges are kool as long as u kiss there ass n be respectful. In fact if u take ur paid check copy to court. More proof the better. I work at a bank, this type of thing happens A LOT!

Yeah I think that I'm gonna go with this. I really really don't have the money to pay a lawyer, so I am going to fight it myself, but I'm hoping that if I prove that it shouldn't have been suspended that they will let me off. It just sucks that this $hit has to happen. I don't understand why Delaware isn't required to tell PA when I payed my ticket, even though they sure as he11 didn't have a problem telling them that I had a fine in the first place, it makes no sense. I already requested a letter from the magistrate in DE for a reciept but do you think that I have to get a letter from PENN DOT saying when they suspended my license and why?

My dad mentioned this when I asked him why he'd never been back to visit.
