Default Anyone had professional carpet cleaning?

I'm going to call and get estimates tomorrow, but I want to know what I'm in for...

I've got this bright red stain on my carpet that was from Raspberry Crystal light. Basically like kool aid...I'd say its about 9" by 6" big...I've tried Oxyclean and resolve, and even a home steam cleaner, and it hasn't gone away. I'm thinking I'm gonna call up one of those professional places and just have them do the room...which is about 18' by 15'.

About how much am I looking at, or how much have you paid in the past? I'm hoping for the stain removal and for a full room cleaning, less than $100...but who knows.

i've had it done a couple times. my old apt was REALLY bad, and they got 95% of the stains up. they usually charge by the room. should be less than $100 easy.

We had it done about 2 years ago in our family room, which is right off our garage so we get alot of traffic through there.

The stains came up and the carpet looked great, but we should have put some sort of stain protector on it afterwards because it's grimy again.

We found coupons in the local Coupon Clipper for like $50 for our room.
