Default Getting rid of the Civic...

Yea... its that time. I have had it for quite a while and I really dont want to put money into it or mod it anymore.

Its funny. Whenever I had no money I wanted to do a million things to it, but whenever I could get some cash together there was something better to do with it.

Oh well. I can get really good deals from the company I work for at a bunch of dealers. No idea really what to get yet.

I do know. Sedan. Sportier then a Civic (thats no mission). And probably under $20k. I'll start looking tomorrow when I know what dealers I can get hooked up at. I also know a guy at a Nissan dealer. So well look. Also interested in the Mazda line... :dunno:

Here is my link to the for sale if anyone is interested, or knows someone who is.
MY CAR FOR SALE!!!

Anyone have any input to what I should get?

At least you realized in the end no matter what you do to it, it's still a Civic. You're waaay ahead of the game with that epiphany. For under 20K, the only "sporty" things I can think of is:

1. Miata (used)
2. Neon SRT-4 (used)
3. WRX (used)
4. Mustang (used) (i'm pushing it here)
5. 240 (obviously used)

Assuming you want something brand new, cars that come to mind are the Dodge Neon SRT-4 (slightly over 20k), Mazda3, Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart, Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V, Subaru Impreza 2.5RS and Toyota Corolla XRS.

I still like the Civic... but I guess the "scene" isn't something I want to be a part of. Especially here in Orlando. :ugh:

I doesn't HAVE to be sporty. It really doesn't. I just want to make sure its a Sedan. That is really the only must have. I'll check out some of your suggestions though like the Nissan and Mazda. Maybe the others.

Not gonna happen for under $20k.

Perhaps sir canada would care to enlighten us as to whether he is looking at new, used or both.

Well since it must be a sedan, you're only really left with:

1. WRX
2. Neon SRT-4
3. Way used 3 series.

Hopefully new... might be able to creep over 20k... but we have to see.

I don't want to sell a perfect running 97 to buy another old used car. Couldn't be any older then 02'.

The Mazda3 is looking pretty good. I really have to look at my options.

Oh. I wouldn't want a Neon, and no WRX unless its an STi

You don't really have options based on your stipulations.
