Given the FUK situation, how do you feel about jump rope? I'm thinking about trying this for my cardio, because I'm getting kinda bored with swimming.

They do give you a workout...you'll find muscles you never knew you had.

Exactly, and I know that by the time I am at the bottom of the hill I am completely out of breath, and I work out pretty much every day... Some of the black diamonds here a really challenging, depending on the ski resort....

I figure in a full day of skiing that I burn between 1800-2000 calories, on average of 36-40 runs down the hill.

My weight training teacher last year always had us do jump rope for cardio. That shit got me real warmed up real fast.

On a side note, I suck with a jump rope. I'm not coordinated enough. Our final included a jump rope test which I failed miserably.
