Default why get an exhaust when you can have NOS

my wife said i could spend $500 on one. but i started looking at nitrous. for about that i can have 50 HP on demand instead of maybe 5 with the exhaust. and retain my stock look. i ran nitrous back in the 80s on my 70 mustang. back then it was new and we used soda fountain solenoids and braided hose to make our own kits with no probs. they have come along way and in terms of engine safety. i think i must spend my cash on this big bang for the buck item.

your thoughts on juice?

Most people get an exhaust for the look and sound, not the performance. While some say it's a performance mod - by itself it contributes almost nothing.

I don't think you can compare exhaust vs NO2 on a close to stock 4cyl NA engine. Buy them for different reasons entirely.

Since you used to squeeze, I'm sure you've factored in the additional costs of fillin' the bottle and potential decrease in engine life.

yep. i figure it wont do much to decrease engine life much at all. all my research has led me to believe that the k20a2 has a really beefy bottom end and can easily handle a couple three 5-10 second shots on the weekend. i guess i care more about actuall performance more than the look or sound.

thanks for the repy out of 28 lookers
