Tail of the Dragon Meet
Ok so is anyone interested in a Tail of the Dragon meet this Summer or Fall ??
www.tailofthedragon.com which is Rte 129 and has 318 Curves in 11 miles. Plus it is between Asheville NC and Knoxville TN. Lately I have been going up there with a few of the Ferrari guys to try to tame it. If we do have enough cars join up to meet then I can get a hold of Killboy.com and have them come out to video tape us riding thru the mountains. We can stay at Tapoco Lodge (www.tapocolodge.com) which is at the base of the Dam at the mountain. If no one wants to stay there then the next closest hotel is about 30-40 miles away in Bryson City NC and places to eat. Also there is Fontana Village which is a little community place to rent cabins and so forth. The Tenessee River on the TN side is a perfect place to take pictures as a background. Last week there was around 7 S2k's and a few Ferrari's running thru the Dragon. I was in Charleston SC though for another Honda Meet and discussing my plans with a guy in SC to buy his ole 328 GTS in the future.
Anyways if anyone is interested then let me know and by March I will have a date set. I will be arranging some hotel info for those who want to make a whole weekend of driving thru the mountains. I would like to see around 50 Honda/Acura's or more at this meet. Peace
