Small Oil Leak
New to the group and need a little help... Have a 96 Acura TL 2.5 and see a small little oil leak under the car. Took it to a place and was told it was in the oil filter housing/stand (but what is that)? The guy said the tech would need about 6 hours to fix it and about 700.00+ bucks.... If it is in the housing/stand is that a O-ring or something that could be causing the leak? Need help calling all Honda/Acura TECH's... THX
I would get under the car yourself and see. With a car that old, it may be the oil pan gasket. That isn't too hard to replace. I did it myself in about an hour on my car for $20 but the shop wanted $200 for the parts/labor. If you don't want to get underneath it, get a second opinion.

Clean motor up you can spray foot power around the oil pan,oil filter area.
To pin-point the leak
