Default 1987 Accord Brakes-HELP!

I am having difficulty with the Bolt on the Front Calipers. It is extending through the mounting bracket, and hitting the Rotor. In order to Torque it to spec, would require the bolt being in WAY to far. I would have tahought that the bracket holes would be blind, or have a shoulder to bring the bolt in to the correct distance. If anyone has encountered this before, and has managed to solve it, Please let me know!

It has to be the wrong bolt it sounds like it is to long. Are you talking about the bolt that holds on the caliper to the knuckle or the bolt that holds the brake pads in.
