Default Overheat and zero heat

Well as the title states... my car overheats and I don't have any heat...
Thank god its only winter and like -10 degrees outside....
Well after I run my car for a bit the water temp gauge goes up to about half ways... if I'm on a highway and keeping a constant speed it goes up to hot... After I turn my car off the overflow is throwin out steam through the hose.. and you can hear it pushing air into the antifreeze in the tank... As for my heat.. not a clue why it isn't working.. Guessing same problem... This all started happening before my headgasket went.. but then i changed it and then my water temp gauge didnt budge for about 2 weeks... But I never had heat... Anyone have a solution or an idea of why this is happening?? PLEASE

Stuck thermostat?
Air in the cooling system?
Broken heater valve?
Bad radiator cap or bad surfaces for it to seal in the radiator neck?

Could be some combination of that stuff, check it out. If its none of those, we can start guessing about more unusual stuff.

Could be a clogged radiator or broken water pump also.

How many miles are on the car? When did you last change the fluid? Last change the water pump?

Yeah, you absolutely have a clog somewhere in your cooling system. The only time I didn' t have heat, my car had overheated because there wasn't enough coolant in the system to pressurize it (and therefore raise boiling temperature), so it all just burned off and I had _NO_ coolant in my engine. Yeah, I blew a head gasket. So make sure that you at least have coolant (sounds like you do), and if you do, then you've got blockage.

yea... i put coolant in it.. but it is loosing some.. i dont know why but im burnin a good bit of oil also... i dont see it leakin anywhere so i dont know i have a bad throttle pos sensor i think it is (on the back of the intake manifold) but when i turn my car off or even while its sitll runnin after a bit steam pours out of the over flow... like where it screws on my coolant dosnt have any oil in it either...
the fluids were just changed about 1500 miles ago because of my headgasket change
waterpump im not sure if it was ever replaced... i bought the car with 126,000
miles on it
there are about 146,000 now
i think im gonna go buy a T and flush my radiator...
im not sure exactly what i can do but it needs done soon

well it looks like my problems are due to yet another blown headgasket... There is oil running down the block... and i put about a whole gallon of water in my radiator... and it seems to be draining i have to look at it better and see but more money
