We have a 1998 Civic LX, auto, with 140K miles, mostly highway. We were having some brake problems and got one new and one used caliper to replace the older ones, lately the car started making grinding sounds as if the brakes are not releasing from the rotor. I looked at the used caliper and it looks like the pads are worn out, when driving the and braking the car vibrates like hell. Now all of a sudden the car won't go in reverse, it would go forward fine but not in reverse. This all happened around the same time and was wondering what that could be....Transmission? brake problems? timing belt?

Any help would be appreciated.
