Default shop manual question?

i'm thinking of picking up a shop manual for my 2001 CL? Went to helm and they have one manual for 2001-2003 but when I was at the acura dealer they had a 2001 CL manual on the shelf. is there any real difference or were they combined after 2003 and then they just dont produce the individual years ?

I think Helms combined them. It costs more for the one from the dealer but it is more specific to your car and is more in-depth.

It's common practice to lump them together by generation. The first year the manual will say "2001," second year "2001-2002" and so on. Any model year specific parts will be noted.
