Default Idle Problem with integra

I posted before about my problems but i found that if you disconnect the idle controll sensor the idle goes down to 1.5 rps its just rough... sounds like it misfires.. but i think its just getting flooded. Not sure... im still getting a wistle.. i think its my iab selonoid my brother thinks its a belt but i dont think so... pretty sure its comin from under the intake manifold
when the idle controll sensor is hooked up it revs from 1-4 but when its disc.. it stays at 1.5
any ideas?

Is it the IAB solenoid that you are disconnecting or the IACV? I would replace whatever it is that you are disconnecting. It doesn't sound like it is working properly. Are all vacuum hoses connected properly? I really couldn't tell you what is the problem unless I was there because I had the same problem but I don't know how I fixed it.

I would start there but it is strange that it does this now and not before the head came off. Sounds like something wasn't put on right as opposed to a bad sensor/solenoid.
