My friend told me you can buy mods like cold air intake from ebay for real cheap. Is it worth buying from ebay or what's a good site to purchase mods?

Sure, but I emphasise "cheap."

For the intakes, you should throw out the filter they come with and pop on a K&N.

Everything else is pretty crappy. The strut bars are flimsy, the springs and coilovers suck as a general rule, the fibreglass and CF parts are low grade, etc.

I only buy stock and brand name parts from ebay.

CAI and muffler and high flow cat are just fine from ebay. the washable filter that comes on the cold air intakes works fine but clogs with water pretty often when driving on a rainy day. Kinda seemed like it clogs easier than you would think.

if you shop on ebay for your parts get brand name used ones rather than new no-name ones. you can always clean-up the used stuff.
