Yesterday I drove out to Santa Ana and picked me up a nice Carbon Fiber Hood for my RSX..:wiggle: It's going to look so perty...I'm excited to put it on Wednesday. h:I got me a good deal on it too paid $250...;-)

 

freaking a meg you got the grad a cf hood huh? i would so get another one for my car cuz i got a good size rock ding on my hood but i dont wanna travel down to socal to save 100 in shipping

Ughhhhh....I hate my car...it's fukkin a POS...this damn hood is gay...it's a pain in my ass to put on..we've been working on it since like 10am...:madfawk: This is retarded...

 

i was all excited about my VIS hood until i got it put on.. and its deformed. VIS = overrated. It was a paint to install too.

 

ive had fiber images and vis..i actually had no problem with fitment and installation (by my buff self btw) with either...that sucks though good luck with that

 

What's hard about putting it on? All you should have to do is un-bolt one and bolt on the other. ??? Whats the deal?

It was a pain in the rear but we got it on...yea I'll you have to do is unbolt 4 bolts and bolt them new hood on BUt i had to line it up...was a pain...and then this CF hood has holes for the windshield wiper nozzles and the holes are too small so the stock ones won't go back in the hole..and I can't find ones with a smaller latch to fit through the hole...also I wanted to use the rubber fromt he stock hood and there are spots to snap the rubber on with the CF hood but the holes are a bit too big for the stock snaps..so I'm trying to find snaps to use to put the rubber lining shit around it. It looks nice now that's it's on but nothing seemed to go right with it....and I'll post pics as soon as I can...I dont have a digi cam right now so I need to get my pics developed. :wiggle:
