have you looked at the distributor? i have had 2 major problems with my distributor in the same senario that you are in. the first time there was no evidence of anything being wrong with the distributor except that it didnt throw a spark, and it wasnt the coil. so i bought a used distributor off of ebay and it started up and ran fine for a while until one day it happened again. except this time it was sputter once every 3 or 4 cranks like it was trying to start. so i opened the distributor and right away a scrue falls out. it was the scrue that fastens the main wheel that makes contact with the distributor contacts for eack spark plug. so none of the spark plugs were getting spark. i recomend opening the distributor and troubleshooting it, if nothing appears wrong check the input power for the distributor to make sure its getting power, if it is, and you still dont get a spark, then replace the distributor. the book will tell you the correct values for the input power

We just had a problem on a 96 It did not wanna throw any spark so we changed the distro and all. and got nothing. We looked at the fuse box in the engine bay and we blow a fuse. Check the fuse box and make sure you did not blow a fuse.
