Default Car is smoking...n e 1 no y?

For some reason lately my car starts smoking from under the hood. I just got my oil changed today and I asked them to check if there was any leaks comming from anywhere and they told me no. So on the way back home from work when I got home and parked my car lo and behold smoke...i dont see any coolant leaking, nothing from my water pump so what could it be?

Is it white smoke? Got your oil changed, hm. Maybe some oil got on your headers. If so, that could be it. Wheres the smoke coming from? Header? Belts? Block? You've gotta be able to see it.

They must have sloppy and got oil on some stuff...
Then again how far did you have to drive?
It should have all burned off fairly quickly, if they had gotten it on the exhaust or header.

Can't you just open the hood and look? Have you done that yet? Please say yes.

the smoke started happening before the oil change...i had asked them to check for leaks while they were checking it...its really hard to tell where the smoke is comming from but it looks like from beneath the engine but im not 100% sure

is it cold or wet where you live, just wondering if you are seeing steam on the header or exhaust h:

Seriously, next time it smokes, stop, open the hood, and figure out where it's coming from
