Default Leaking VTEC solenoid gasket?

95 Civic EX with d16z6 engine:
146000mi on the beast - no mods

Got an oil leak out of nowhere a few weeks ago. Thought it was my drainplug (I was too lazy to replace the crush washer at the time) dripping but I replaced the washer and still get a leak right onto my exhaust. Not losing much oil, it's not even a noticable difference on the dipstick. Just enough to stink when I come to a stop.

Checked the front main seal when I did my timing belt last month and there wasn't much to speak of.. a couple droplets but nothing bad enough to be considered a "leak".

Someone told me to check the VTEC solenoid gasket, and sure enough there appears to be fresh oil all around below it.

Is this a cheap part from the dealer? Is it easy to replace? Any tips or tricks I should be aware of before I pull the trigger on this job?
