BTW they took $5xx in tax on my last paycheck. That's just the federal. I calculated I'll be getting like 3-4K back this year.

how so? it doesn't just count as your income and taxed accordingly?

 

if its reported on the paycheck as "commission" payout, then the percentage is almost double. but if its reported (by your employer) on the paycheck as just regular pay, you get whatever tax percentage youre in (most of us filing "1" are probably 20%).
