Default Is radiator leaking common porblem on integra?

my gf just pick up the 98 integra ls about 2 weeks ago and today i notice that the radiator was leaking anti-freeze....it's right below where the cap is...i took it to a shop and they told me because honda use plastic for the top part of the radiator and rest aluminum that's why it tends to crack or break which leads to leaking anti-freeze....i already order another oem replacement from radiator.com as suggest by fellow member which comes with life time warranty...

It is common for the radiators to crack at the plastic. OEM replacements have done away with the plastic and are fully aluminum.

Yea I would suppose so. The guy who I bought my car off of who had owned it from 22-67k Miles said that the radiator was the only thing that had ever broke on the car. He just said it leaked and they had it fixed.
