Default B16A 92-95 (SiR-II) Motor?

I am going to get a B16A 92-95 (SiR-II) Motor, Tranny, ECU from Hmotorsonline, for:

Price: $ 1799.00 Plus shipping and handling

- Motor
- Hydraulic Tranny (S21, Y21) ------(what is the difference?)
- ECU (P30)
- Alternator
- Starter
- Clutch
- Flywheel
- Intake Manifold
- Exhaust Manifold
- Fuel Rail
- Injectors
- Distributor
- Engine Harness ------( do they come cut from Hmotorsonline? )
- Comes With All Sensors Needed
- LSD Tranny (Optional +$300)

Dont I need axles, shift linkage, and motor mounts for a complete swap? How much will these things run me? And what are the stock parts off of that I need for the swap? I am guesing a 92-95 Acura?

thats a JDM engine..from a JDM civic...you will need the mounts...you do need axles..linkage etc. Integras dont have B16s..enless they are swapped..better off finding the parts off an Si or better yet a JDM civic or Del Sol...good luck.

edit: the axles will run aroun 100 +sh.
Linkage is about70-80+sh..better off finding a linkage for sale off a classified forum.alot of the stuff you need goes for cheap..people tend to have some stuff left over from their swaps.

JDM B16A's came from:
96+ JDM Civic SiR II's.
92-95 JDM Civic SiR II's.
89-92 JDM Civic SiR's.
92-96 JDM del Sol CR-X SiR's.
90-91 JDM CR-X SiR's.
ALONG WITH
90-93 JDM Integra XSi/RSi's.

All stock mounts should work, except for maybe the front stabilizer mount.

You will need Axles from a B16a del Sol or EK Si.

why don't you just get the complete swap from Hmotorsonline. they have the "motor, tranny, and ecu" for 1799.

or they have the "complete swap" for 2250. it includes axles, shift linkage, mounts, and all the other things

Im with bambbrose that's the best way to go. Get the complete swap that way you don't have to scrounge around for the axels and shift linkage. One thing about that swap though is the knock sensor and map sensor. You'll more than likely have to wire those into your car's wiring harness. That was the main problem I had when doing the b16a swap.

Really, thanks, I will PM you Nemesis4, when I need some help with that. Thanks for all the info, also I checked around, and found the shift linkage for 125.... I was lookin at the complete swap, and I might end up doing that, but I was just thinking of buying the small stuff befor I got the motor, that way I wouldnt spend all my cash at once, and have none left over for small things durring the swap.

P.S. - If I do the work myself, are there any other issues I might run into when I do the swap?? I know that Hmotors says (complete swap) but I know there are always small things u dont realise untill your in the middle of it, like crush washers, hoses, O'rings, and all that kinda junk? I also wanted to know if anyone who has done this once or twice has a messenger or email I could reach them at, incase I need some help.

The radiator hoses will have to be replaced the one from the sohc are too small. There will be some play in the shifter so just go out and buy some rubber washers and put them in between the shift linkage and the shifter under the car and that will stiffen that up. Hmotors is really reliable when my motor came it was very clean, I couldn't be happier. I got the complete change over and that's not a lie. You get everything to drop that motor into your car. W/ the exception of a few minor things. It just dropped right in too, that motor looks huge in your engine bay once you put it in. Yeah man feel free to pm me w/ any problems you run into and good luck.
