They said it was due monday...
But the paper says it is due wednesday.
If I go in with it not done, because I want to do it tuesday when I'm not half asleep and I have work to do for monday still, will they be mad if said the sheet said Wed? Do they even have any backing (the professors) if they put wednesday and then said monday?

In my experience (extreme slacker) they will always win, unless the majority of the class is as "confused" as you. If you are the only one who doesnt' have it done you will probably get downgraded for being late. Best bet is to double check and follow the teacher's orders.

but you are gay!
h: nah, I'm not sure, check with some friends that are in your class, because if you are the only person, he/she will say everyone else handed it in, why didn't you?
If he said Monday, he means monday. Usually professors write instructions in advance, and the dates might change and he probably forgot.

I haven't missed a class yet
h:
I can't imagine even if a lot of kids hand it in on monday, if I tell them I'm handing it in on wednesday, that they will be mad since 1) they aren't going to be grading them all right away (class of 45 or so students) and 2) the sheet disagrees with them--they never said that it was switched and to make note that the sheet is wrong (I would have wrote that down then).
