Maintaining your 94' LS, timing belt etc.
i have 78k on my 94 LS. i think im suppose to change timing belt
pretty soon, any idea how much im looking at? also i dont think
my spark or wires were ever changed cause
i touched the end of my wire attached to my distributor and
it threw me on the ground. is that a sign to change them?

my engine is dirty too i wanna use this degreaser but its not really greasy
just dirty from never being cleaned. should i use degreaser?

Your car has super low miles :eek3: I thought my 96 GSR with 98k was young, but damn.
Anyway, timing belt changes are supposed to be done every 30k. I'm way overdue. Make sure you change the water pump as well.
You can change your plugs and wires if you want, but as long as they are working properly I don't see the need to do so.
Cover up your distributor and fuse box with some plastic bags and liberally spray some Simple Green Automotive, or even regular Simple Green. Wait 5 minutes then rinse off and repeat if necessary. Run the car 'till it's dry and use your favorite rubber/plastic dressing.

Sorry Dom, timing belt and water pump is 90k service, not 30k. 
I'd also do fluids...tranny, coolant, clutch, brake. Do new plugs, distributor cap and rotor. You'll be good to go.

timing belt needs to be done at 90k miles ive gota 96 LS with 93K..(i still havent had it done) along with the timing belt get the drive belts, water pump, spark plugs, plug wires and fuel filter and the 90k service(tranny fluids ect)(ive gota brand new tranny..so im not doing it)
ive been calling around dealers(honda/acura) run around $700 for it all to be done...import shops run about $300-500...but thats also california prices heh
ps look into a valve adjustment too..and for the engine..i pressure wash mine.. like once a month or more..it helps..works too

use OEM cap and rotor, don't forget the rubber O ring that is in the groove on the bottom of the cap. The only advantage the platinums have over stock copper besides lightening your wallet faster is longer interval for changes.
