I am having a tough time getting the rear brake rotors off my 00' g-sr. After removing the caliper, I took the phillips retaining screws out with an impact driver. I inserted the jack screws in rotor, but they just pass through the cut outs in the hub assembly that has the lug nuts in it. I expected the jack screws to pop the rotor right off so I was surprised they didn't hit anything when I screwed them in. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

 

put a block of wood against the rotor and hit the wood with a hammer.

 

Thanks. I ended up using a 24 oz rubber mallet. I believe it is called a dead blow hammer. The other side came off much easier. I still can't understand why the hub assembly has cut outs behind the locations where the bolts go in to push the rotor off. The service manual doesn't indicate that.
