I have a 1989 Honda CRX si. It is black in color.

First I will tell you the things that are wrong with it. It has the normal crx rust on the rear panels. The rust isnt as bad as other crx's that ive seen. There is a pretty big dent on the hood, but it doesnt affect its function at all.
Its missing the window/door trim on the passsenger side and the quarter panel trim on the passengers side. ( check pics).

Car has 153k on the original SI motor and is still running strong. 5 speed manual tranny shifts great and the clutch is still rocking. New tires all around.

Car is completely stock!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone knows that if you want to modify a car...a stock car is the best to get.

Now, for my favorite part. The interior!!! The interior is freakin mint! best interior i have ever seen on a crx period. and I am not new to the crx scene either....I have owned and modified crx's. No rips in seats.....nothing painted...no cracks ...looks brand new. Even has the rear cargo area. Spare tire looks like it has never even daylight. This car even has the stock si lip and the rain guards on the tires.

No radio in the car....does come with speakers though

If it were this time next year, I might be intersted in have it for a daily driver and project car.

 

I havent seen an '89 as clean as that in, forever. Keep it man! B-series, JDM front end, and the '90-'91 dash and interior in that thing and it'll be priceless.

CRX's like that arent just something you pass around selling and trading between you and your buddies. Everyone keeps there CRX for a like a kool, jdm, project slash/ race car kinda thing. Your not supposed to get rid of them. I kept mine, and then went out and bought a '95 GSR for my pimp around car.

So do what you want to do, but always remember, there always wont be a clean ass Rex around like that to buy back when you've remembered how sick it was. They will all be crushed for scrap metal because stupid F-er's mess them up with gay ass body kits, chrome wheels, clear corners and bumper lenses, and six foot tall alluminum wings. Then go out and wreck them cause they suck at driving and replace fenders with blue, tan, and pink Z3 fenders and primer the shit out of there car with bondo chunks falling off on the freeway. Ya know, the people that give us Honda/Acura drivers a bad name cause they've watched too much F-ing T.v. and movies.

OK IM DONE PREACHING NOW, SORRY DUDE....

 

I wish I was close to NJ to take that off your hands. $2500 sounds like a resonable price for a rex in that condition. Nice car man, he's right, you should probley keep it

 

i want a crx project car but wont have money till january, u up to wait?
