Integra Type R stock air filter
Hey people i have a 2002 integra type r and i was just wondering what kind of air filter comes with it stock, People say they come stock with a POD filter is this true. If so i was going to buy a apexi pod air filter and install it.
I havent gottin around to opening it up and checking what it is.
Can someone help me it would be well appreciated thanks

They had a 2002 DC5 Honda Integra Type R.
It's basically a DC5 ITR with a 200 HP K20A2 motor.
I've asked a couple of them if they have the K20Z1 motor for 2005, but nobody's looked, yet.
We do get the K20Z1 in Australia for 2005. Rated at 154kw, or 210hp. The Integra is no longer sold as a Type R though, its now a Type S.
As for the thread starter's question, most decent intakes do provide gains on a K20A2. Apparently the CAI's do work better than the short ram's. For performance your money is best put into Hondata.

Thanks for clarifying what the Ozzie market gets. When you drive a Z1, you'll want to trade in your older car. 10 HP doesn't look so hot on paper...it's all in the driving and power under the curve.
