I have a 96 ls. It has a rubbing type noise sound in the steering column whenever I turn. I took it to the dealership. They said they replaced and lubed the rubber gaskets and rings in the steering. It still makes the noise. They say function is fine. It is just annoying. They are out of ideas as am I, except short of dropping the entire steering column and we all know the labor on that is way too expensive , especially if they find nothing. Any thoughts or help would be great. Again the noise sounds like a deep rubber squeak, almost a rubbing noise when I turn. Thanks.
