I just recently have had a problem with my beloved Teggy. It's a 95 LS, with 86,000 miles. Recently, when it starts, it idles really rough. Its manual, so when i start to release the clutch, it shakes even worse, and on until about 3000 rpm. then when i shift up, it shakes until about 3000 again. there is no clutch problems, and it still sticks well. it doesn't go away even after it's warmed up. It feels like a cylinder isn't firing, or misfiring, but today i pulled out the plugs, and they all looked fine, and they were all gapped the same. I've read some other places that it could be the fuel system, ie the filter and injectors, so i might try to buy some injector cleaner. I also change the oil at regular 3000 mile intervals. I need to take it on a trip thursday, so i hope to fix it before then. Thanx in advance

If you haven't changed the fuel filter in a while go ahead and do it. It's not expensive and it only takes a few minutes or so, depending on your abilities.
I'm not saying it's a fuel problem, but it could be I guess.

Agree... sounds like it could be the fuel filter...

 

or the pump (hope not) that cost more...

 

Fuel filter, distributor cap, plug wires, vaccum hoses. Have you checked all cylinders for spark?

 

sounds like the problem I'm having as of this morniing too. My 95 teg is bogging so sever that I couldn't even drive off (even though I attemped). Each time I started to slow to a stop it would bog again.

 

My '95 Teggy had roughly the same problem. Does it bog down when you try to accelerate?? My did that and it turned out to be the ignition coil.

 

yeah bogs as i accelerate, and once I reach a constant speed, if I accell some more I'll hear/feel it bog once again.

 

My old prelude had the same problem after having the motor replaced. The tools hooked up the vacuum hoses wrong.

 

Well, i seemed to have solved the problem. I figured it was just the injectors, and i ran some lucas oil through it, and now it runs good. thanx for the help!
