Car dont wanna go past 4500 rpms b18c1

i just put the motor on wont go over 4500 rpm no speedometer yet
though any suggestion on what might be the problem?

make sure all the fuel injectors and sensors are connected right the engine might be in "safe mode" where in which it wont go over 45.. mine 3 but it might be 45 for urs... the new engine might have a bad sensor on it.. check the codes.

You might want to check all of your vacuum lines as well.

My friend had the same problem with his 240 but then found out it was the engine ground that wasn't grounded. Now it's good as new
