question for people with B-series swaps in civics
I was wondering if anyone is having problems with the hood hitting the top of the valve cover? Some people said Im probably using the wrong type of motor mounts, but Im using the stock B-series mounts and im pretty sure those where the ones I was supposed to use... right? Is there anything I have to do to make it sit lower?

My car sure looked like hood wasn't going to clear but it did fine. I also had ES mount inserts, without them, I could see the engine rocking enough to maybe hit the hood.

Not sure with the OEM hood. I have a TC Sportline cf hood and it doesn't hit at all with Prothane and ES mounts. I did have an aftermarket fiberglass hood before my cf hood that hit like crazy. I couldn't even close the hood over the motor.
Good question.
