Default Importing an Integra type-r.........

Hi, im new to the forum and would like to pick your brains! Im currently on a mission to own a 2000 integra type-r. I believe that it is cheaper to import one from Japan to the uk rather than pay a uk dealer price? Could anyone shed some light on this matter and reccommend an export company that they've used.

Thanx for your time....................

if you're from michigan, i was just wondering if you could back it up??? anyway, to the original poster, talk to austrian type-R on honda-tech because he restores ITRs in europe and maybe he'd be able to sell you one.

Are you saying this because you have experience with importing JDM cars into the United Kingdom (England) and a familiarity with the market prices of ITRs there? Or are you basing your statement on the U.S. market, which is obviously not relevant to the person who initiated this topic?

It sounds like the original poster is looking for an ITR with right hand drive - and any ITRs on mainland Europe will be left hand drive...

A member of the board here had a RHD ITR. It was a pain. It'd be in your best interest to look for one in the states, good luck.

I'm an idiot. If it's legal in your country, then yes a ITR from Japan would be much cheaper.
