Defective IACV
My IACV has been going out on my h22 for a few months now. It just now started to get worse. It used cause the car's idle to fluctate at night and with the headlights on. Now it is just doing it all the time. I recalibrated my TPS, swapped out my Fast Idle Valve, and looked around for vaccum leaks (none found). Could this become a potential problem in the long run or just become a nuisance?
I will replace it eventually, but right now I don't have the cash to.

I ended up cleaning the damn thing today, ran it through some Gunk Engine Degreaser and Carb Cleaner. It still caused my car to idle funky after it has warmed up and what not..... I dunno what else to do other than to buy another one.
Take off the IAC valve and block off the hole that has vacumm. Start the car and see if the idle smooths out. If it does buy a new IAC solenoid and if it doesn't you have a problem somewhere else. Cleaning it only works sometimes.
