Default Engine QUESTION

k, Say i have an 200,000miles civic lx. and then i have an civic lx engine thats 130,000. and if i were to take the engine head and replace the 200,000mile civic with the engine head of the 130,000 mile. Would that make a difference? or would it still be an 200,000 mile civic.

It could but most likely not. It all depends on the condition of the two motors.

It would make a difference but not much because the main/rod bearings, not to mention the rings in the block still have those 200k on them, and the only thing you brung down was the head and thats only have the motor.

it would be faster and easier just to swap the whole lower milage motor over. Plus why swap just the head if you can do the whole thing...swapping the head wont change the fact that the block has so many miles
